VintageRotaryDecals.com is still here!

Hi all,

My apologies to all that have tried to make contact with me these past couple of months. It truley been crazy busy for me. I regret not being able to service my customers in a timely fashion that you all deserve.

Some of you know, that VRD is somewhat of a part time/ hobby business. I do have a normal job, and unfortunatly my job has consumed all of my spare time. I am a "one man show", I do everything from reproducing all the decals, finding suitable vendors, to building the website and eveything in between.

Financing VRD also became an issue, getting affordable pricing became a huge issue, as my "hookup" is no more. And my replacement vendors were dropping the ball on me, which made me look bad with my customers.

Rather to continue providing a half hearted effort, I decided to take the website down until I can get more time, effort, and finacing.

VRD is not done by any means, I still have some REPU inventory. And I will continue to provide Vintage decals for all you Rotorheads.

So please be patient when trying to contact me, I WILL RESPOND!!

Thanks, Juan

Juan

Wow, hearing from you is a sigh of relief! Now, you said you have some inventory..maybe you could list it and get some quick cash? I'll buy NOW if you have a set of REPU decals, but if not, can you give some sort of a timeline? I'm happy to wait on your superior product rather than go to some sign place and have them attempt something similar.
Like I said, you have REPU stuff, let me know at
paynemw@charter.net.

Thanks for posting!

Nice!!!

Happy to hear you're not finished/gone for good! I can relate to the 'one man show' thing... that's me, too.

Say, might it be worthwhile for you to offer us mazdarepu.com 'board-heads' some kind of deal on your existing REPU-specific inventory, right here on this thread, perhaps? It would save you the Ebay fees... and, this IS 'the' place for quite a few potential customers... (hint, hint!)...

I think I'm not speaking just for myself when I say that we've always admired what we've seen of your work... even as some have balked at the price, and others --such as myself-- had simply decided to put off investing until absolutely nessecary for a given project.

Perhaps enough of us here can make a difference???

I will do the tailgate letters and a VIN plate now if that will help out.

I think Juan has a few tailgate sets still in stock, I told him I'd buy those right now if he has 'em. I am, however, in need of the factory-type striping kit...

Repu decals

Hi all,

I do have the REPU Tailgate Kits avaliable in (2) options,

1. 2 piece set:
white lettering w/navy blue border 'ROTARY POWER' and black & grey 'MAZDA'

2. 2 piece set:
dark blue lettering w/navy blue border 'ROTARY POWER' and black & grey 'MAZDA'

The REPU Body Kits are avaliable in (2) options,

1. this kit is featured on this site, the 'HOOKSROTARY'

2. this kit is featured in the repu brochure, the yellow repu.

Hopefully this week I'll try to get pricing on the Body kit.

If you guys purchase more than four(4) REPU Tailgate kits at once, I'll lower the price down to $60.00 for each set, + $5.00 bulk shipping

Thanks again,
Juan

I am in for one kit / white "Rotary Power" with blue outline.

BTW, I would like to do the VIN plate. Do I ship it to you?

We better get 'em while we can, I procrastinated, the next thing I know Juan had supposedly 'quit'..scared me. I just paid for my tailgate stuff, waiting for avaliability of the body kit.
Also, I just ordered door and window trim from Mazda, the guy said Mazda only had about 6 sets left in stock. If you're gonna get these, NOW is the time as I assume they'll not make more.

Well, if only I were a rich man...

I'd be in for a tailgate set or two and at least one body kit, but alas, the funds just aren't there right now- trying to get the pieces and parts together to put five projects together takes a heck of alot out of the old pocketbook. I am hoping there'll still be some around come next month when some more money rolls in....

mwpayne- what door and window trim sets are you speaking of? To my knowledge everything in the Mazda system was NLA as of a year ago pertaining to doors except a few vent window chrome trim pieces, some door glass and some door hardware items. I had to buy the door weatherstrip (as I know many of us did) from a later model B-series truck. I got my set of glass run channel and other door and glass trim from Craig when he was clearing stuff out before Max bought his truck.

Neal.

I used the part number someone posted on this forum a while back..I believe they may be for a 1977 truck, but are supposed to be a perfect fit. Looks like it is, anyway.

Picked them up today, one door trim (part number goof on my part caused mazda to have to re-order the other side) and both window channels cost me about $125.00.

Count me in.....

for a tailgate set in white. For those of you that hav'nt seen Juans work in person it is top notch. I know alot of you think it is exspensive but I think its worth every penny since there are no other options out there. Thats just my 2 cents. Anyways lets get the order for the kits rolling!

Are we still happening, or am I too late again already... or is Juan MIA once again?

I got my tailgate lettering recently, but he's been pretty quiet since. He's supposed to let me know when the rest of the body striping is avaliable.

I'll bust out the plastic...

...if, and when, we have a 'group buy' happening here for "full sets"--(tailgate and stripe kits for whole truck)-- at a 'nice' price. Just let me know...

I'm still holding out...

...for a 'set' that includes the specific side stripe kit I desire... perhaps with the under-hood decals/plate, etc. as well... "The Full Meal Deal", so to speak...
