grill color?
Hey guys,
I was wondering what color is the center piece of the grill supposed to be?My trucks center grill is black like all or most of the others I have seen but the outer rim is painted of chromed.If it is chromed it is chipping pretty bad or maybe some one painted it with silver paint.Also is the Rotary Engine badge available anywhere?Is it maybe the same as another vehicles badge?RX-2,3,4,7?I have seen plenty of truck in the picture gallery that have all black grills and think that looks pretty good,as well as body color matched.Oh yeah my truck has a very straight front bumper but it has been painted by the PO and the paint is all chipping off.Is it possible to get it re-chromed after it has been painted?My truck is in some pictures in the gallery under Misc.It is the green one that is more toward the right side.Just in case anyone wanted to see what i mean about the grill color.

I believe...
...that original, factory silvery-grey color the grill was, was called 'Argent'... and if I'm not mistaken, if you can strip paint, and polish metal, you can get a bumper nicely re-chromed...

That center emblem is one of the hardest parts to find.
Someone here on the board looked into getting reproductions made, but that was a no-go.
