Battery Door Holder?
How rare is this Rubber Band on the inside of my Battery door? It has a wire bracket on the end that looks like it hooks over the bed rail?
Is this right?

watch the paint...
I`m wondering if their wasn`t some kind of coating on the hook originally, I`ve already scratched my new paint using that damn thing, might make a great slingshot tho.

Battery Door Holder
No the hook for the battery door holder never had any plastic or rubber coating, you just hook it on the top rail of your bed.
