I would be interested in taking a look at it before all the "bidding" begins. I can do the bidding remotely, but I am only in town this week before going on business for two weeks. I live in the Seattle area. Could you contact me so I could make arrangements to take a look at the truck?
Thanx-
Brad

Meaning I dont have to check with my wife, ask my momma for the money, wish I could buy it cause it looks like a great deal, or see if the bank will loan me the money for a 33 year old vehicle. I have the cash, so that part doesnt enter into my decision. I just have to decided if I want it or not.

Don't you mean...
...that you have to decide *how badly* you want it, (for ju$t how much)...?
(After all, it's ultimately up to the seller to decide whose offer to accept.)
I think most of us already *know* we want it!
...and I don't have to 'ask' anyone to loan me any amount, either. Should I choose to spend it, it's available to me on fairly short notice.
Must be nice to be rich, though...

For those with a big budget...:
Here's the *rarest* oldschool Mazda rotorcar you've never, ever even seen in person, most likely:
Ebay Item# 180095845916 ; 1971 Mazda Cosmo 110 S Series II
Located in Marysville, WA. ...a mere $52.5K Buy it Now, or Best offer (!)
Quite the companion car to this REPU, for those with the dough... if you ask me.

Quite the diversion, but it's not a REPU.
I've seen one in person at SevenStock several times. It's nice living in So. Cal.

I'll delete my post...
...if it's considered inappropriate to mention the original Cosmo here, in such a manner.

COSMO
I'm sorry klaus I didn't mean it that way. It's a beautiful & rare car and how often do we see one for sale?... It's only natural to be excited.
No harm no foul.

Very nice
Well, that has to be the cleanest REPU I've seen since the Red one that was restored a couple of years back.
Regardless, I hope it goes to a good owner. I would suspect that it should get in the same neighborhood as the red one. Probably not as much, but who knows.
To me, the easiest way would be to ebay it. But let me know what your minimum is, and how much you hope to get. There's obviously a few things done to this one that take away from stock, but none are too bad.

OH YES, it runs
Yes, it does run.
I had to reconnect the Battery, gave it some Choke.
and it started.
Apparently they started it every couple of months.
I have also seen in the basement of the house what is
beleived to be another Rotary engine disassembled.
NOT, from this vehicle.
The Original owner Don was teaching a "Powder Puff"
school for women to learn how to maintain their cars.
I will try to ID next time I go down there.

I had a class every year for the girl scouts on maintence, oil and filter change, and changing a flat tire, and general bs they should know about owning a car....all they learned was to call me if they have a problem....like change a flat at midnight. So I stopped that bs.
