77 Mazda Rotary Pick-Up
Reluctantly selling my 77 Mazda Rotary Pick-Up. The truck is “Marguerite White� with Blue interior. 138,000 Miles, Never been wrecked, Clear title. Been wanting to do a complete restoration for some time but have other things that need to come first. I did however work my way through the drive train. I replaced everything down to the bolts and I have the receipts. The only used parts to go back on the engine was the Carburetor, a 48mm Webber Sidedraft, and a 2nd Gen RX-7 Internally Regulated and Internally Fanned Alternator.

...but a '20B' is the three-rotor motor...

Yes, well... thank you for pointing out the obvious. I guess I should have gone into more detail... Rob at Pinneapple Racing built my 2-Rotor motor using 20B Rotor Housings because as he put it they are higher performance and just plain better than the 13B housings.

But what makes a 20B housing 'higher performance' over a 13B housing?

My opinion is that a 20b housing (if its the same as a 13b-re housing which I believe is correct) will be less top end performance but possibly more torque low end. If you look at the exhaust ports the sleeves are not symmetrical and exhaust looks quite restricted compared to a 13b-t or 13b-rew. I will post pics if I can find that re sleeve I had laying around. Maybe this is better for a truck?
