Hey Dale!
I've got two '83 12A 'cores' sitting in my garage right now... one of 'em came from an automatic, one from a stick... the auto. one ran when pulled, but burned enough oil that it was starting to be an issue... (from the running, straight-bodied seven that Matt22 stripped and parted out)... the other one, as I recall, was in no better shape... however, at least the auto. one I'd assume to be rebuildable. Neither one's been torn down, so could qualify as an 'official' core to trade in for a freshly built 'pro rotorshop' motor... (Sorry, no carb/starter/transmission/etc. to go with either...)
If you're still interested, I'm in Eugene, OR. ...

$100 cash apiece.
Come and get 'em! (Carb, dizzy, clutch, shipping, etc. etc., not included--sorry!).
Limited time offer. (I might yet come to my senses...) :b
