Here's one...
Time is short and the price is climbing. It is in California.

It looks like a rebuildable chassis.

I'm in Sacramento, very close to where this truck is. I could easily check it out for you guys if you'd like. Honestly I wouldn't mind it myself, but it's already up to $520. I emailed the seller but they weren't really much help - I asked to check out the truck in person but they said they were super busy and I would have to go off the pics. I'll keep trying I suppose.
If any of you guys are interested in it shoot me an email at mmanitta@earthlink.net and I'll try helping out. Personally I'd really like to see pics of the engine compartment and rear end of the truck and to see if there is any rust since the description says it has been off the road for 10 years.

Auction/Parts-Trader Watch
I wonder if we can all get together more dilligently on these sorts of deals. Say if its not something you're personall interested in post links to the Forsale folder of this forum?
Would that be an abuse of this list? I know I don't look everyday (sometimes not even every week) for stuff on ebay, parts-trader, otherplaces but when I do I'd be happy to post an REPU-related finds to the list so others won't miss them.
Think that would be ok or too much traffic in the For-sale section?

Twenty_Wanna_be....
Is that not what we did here on this post?
If you will read this and several other "rotary" forums long enough, you will see that we do actually help each other out quite frequently, in fact, THAT IS the main reasons these forums exist. TO help each other out and share information about our interests.

There's SOMEthing there, tho its too hard to tell. Could just be a floor mat :p
I wouldn't mind a sunroof in a repu, but wow, the roof would have to already be damaged or soemthing for me to do that. I just couldn't bear to cut up a cab that isn't already messed up.

And now for the Western crowd....
Here is a relisting of the one that sold on Ebay earlier this month.
Apparently, the buyer failed to take into account the expense and logistics of getting a truck from Sacremento to Fort Lauterdale, Florida...LOL!
He states "due to unforseen circumstances" Yep, probably the need for a couple of grand,$$$$$$
Anyway, looks like a nice platform to stuff in a powerplant. Price is a little steep though.

Holy crap.
Yah I ust paid 800 smackers to tote one to south Florida from the midwest. I looked into transport from Cali when that fuel-injected one from SanFran with all the extra parts was for sale. You could do it for less htan a grand. Something about west coast to east coast... I guess there's just a lot of traffic from along in that direction.
Still, *I* checked ransport costs BEFORE I made the deal.

lol, at first i didn't realize that it was the buyer(new owner) that was reselling it. I thought the seller was relisting. Yeah his price is too high. Its higher than he paid. And he needs to take into consideration that if he doesn't sell it, he'll lose everything!

How much is he asking? Does he tel you what the reserve is or something?
Also if it hasn't sold yet (hard to believe) there was a post for a '75 auto that looks really good. I would have jumped on it but I just got hte '77 into the back yard and I can't justify the expense right now.

Just in case this thread's not dead:
Long-distance buyers (ebay...) beware! I've still no paper on "that fuel-injected one"... so let that be a lesson to all of us! Who was it was telling me CA has 'non-op' penalties and fees that accrue...making bad incentives for (former) owners to (never) find titles...

Just in case...
If I can't get Matt interested in building the one he's found, I'll encourage him to sell it complete to someone here on this forum, rather than parting it...
