adjusting rear drum brakes - revisited
So how tight do we adjust the rear drum brakes to?
Factory shop manual says to tighten them up so the drum does not move at all, then back off the star wheels 5 clicks.
Is that right? That sounds pretty darn tight. Dragging brakes...
How do you adjust your rear brakes?

Just like you said...
...you do the adjustment as described, then go out and seat them by doing some hard braking... then, re-adjust as needed to achieve the desired effect. Repeat as nessecary; back off as nessecary to not drag...
