wasn't hard at all. Here is what i did.
1)jack up rear
2)remove fuel filler tube and fuel lines to tank that i
could see and or reach
3)support tank with jack and slab of wood
4)unbolt front and rear
5)slowly lower tank with jack and remove rest of lines
if you have the access panel in your bed, you may be able to remove all the lines before dropping the tank???
