New wheels

Hello everyone,

I just bought some OEM mazda truck wheels from a 93 B2400 for my 75 repu and they fit perfect. I just started working on it and plan on having it road worthy soon. Just thought I would share since locating nicw wheels can be a pain for repu's.

Nice looking wheels. I suppose you got the idea from me when I told you I had wheels of that vintage on my truck that day I came down to see yours. Those are a different style than mine, but my wheels came from a 92 or so truck as well. Did you get the email I sent you a week or so ago asking about how you were making out with the truck? I was wondering if you needed any help with it. Do you have the Protege on the road yet? Oh well off to work on my van,I will check back in later. Give me a shout at cdirado at mac dot com.

Hello Chris,

How are you doing? I sent you an e-mail ovre a week ago. Hopefully everything is OK. I have benn working on my truck for the last couple of days getting it better. Today I fixed the radio which whomever installed it must have been practicing. It was a wiring nightmare. When all is said and done it is working fine. I eliminated at least 10 wires which were doing nothing at all. I prefer removing extra wires versus dealing with missing wires. Either way I hope to hear from you soon.

Hector

That's a real clean truck. I thought that the extended cabs were only 76,77, though. Are all 75's extended?

That truck doesn't have an extended length cab.It is a 75 which has the same cab as the 74,and 76.Only the 77 has the larger cab as far as I know. It does look nice though I can atest to that as I have seen it in person.I think he has cleaned it up some since I saw it as well last year.

Here are a few pictures of my repu after spending a lot of time cleaning it up. I am not done with it by far but I am proud on how it is coming out so far.
