Unbelieveable!
$262.50 winning bid for a used, though straight--but not mint--REPU front bumper. Damn! At this rate, it will be worth fixing everything fixable on every REPU still left...

Wow....
Er....uh..I thought the midsection of a Mazda/courier bumper was still available from a variety of suppliers for about $65.00 or so? Am I mistaken?
Ooops, should I not have thrown away that badly mangled one I took off a truck a few weeks ago? Maybe I could have sold it on ebay of a few bucks....

Well that does sound high.
But a friend of mine is restoring a 64 Corvette and was telling me the other day how he found a bumper for his car for $450 bucks. Problem with that is his car requires 4 of them. Two in front and 2 in rear.

Glad I'm not needing 'vette parts!
Perhaps the winning bidder's ID sheds some light: katsuyuki jp. Next lower bidder clocked in at $150. I tried to get ahold of the previous high bidder, rotaryrepukid74, but was rebuffed with the "invalid ID" msg. ...? Seems the reserve might've been as much as $149... last I'd heard, the center section was still available from Mazda for $110. Of course, who knows about the end pieces, and the license plate mount, etc. ... If you guys clean out the warehouses, could someone please hang on to one for me until I can get some money to spend? Thanks in advance! --K.
